Rick Stein Coves of Cornwall - Porthilly Sugar Bowl

Rick Stein Coves of Cornwall - Porthilly Sugar Bowl

This beautiful ceramic design, inspired by the land and seascape of Cornish coves, was the winning entry in a competition Rick Stein launched to final year design students at Falmouth University, Cornwall to create his new table top collection.

Coves from north Cornwall have been hand-painted in watercolour showing the depth and colour variations in the sea. The clean design and form of bone china complements the subtly changing shades of each cove resulting in a unique and highly collectable range of coastal tableware.

Rick's memory of Porthilly Cove -"Mussels and oysters, and a view from Padstow of lush pastures coming down to the bay."

This is a sugar bowl with air-tight wooden lid and a capacity of 130ml, it comes in a gift box.

Ceramic base dishwasher and microwave safe. Wooden lid & seal wipe clean only.
